Bellitalia Seating Options

Solar Powered Restroom 1D3A

Moodie Outdoor Products has recently completed the construction of a number of restrooms for Parramatta Council. The restrooms are 1D3A in layout and have been designed with sustainability in mind as they are fully solar powered and harvest rainwater for cleaning purposes. The locations include Rosella Pk, Harris Park – Boronia Pk, Epping – Lions Pk, Winston Hills.

A solar panel installed on a pole just outside the amenities block charges a battery inside the service duct which powers the lighting and auto timed door locks. A 2000L water tank is installed to harvest rainwater for cleaning purposes. These tanks can also be filled with mains water during times of little or no rain.

The building consists of rendered blockwork construction with pre-fabricated and powder coated steel roof frame and verandah posts. Render is painted internal and external with anti-graffiti coating.

Project Completion – Corpus Christie Catholic Primary School – Roocycle Access Ramp

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed a project for Corpus Christie Catholic Primary School. The school required an ramp with disable access to join 2 x levels within the school grounds.

The ramp would also be required to retain soil as there was a garden that divided the 2 x levels. Roocycled wpc materials ticked all the boxes as the product is non-permeable, will not rot, split, crack or warp. It is manufactured from co-mingled particles of wood waste and recycled plastic.

The popular combination of Roocycle ET for the structure and Enviro decking was used for the construction. Engineering certification was provided for the design and the ramp was constructed to a 1:14 gradient with level landings where required.

In total 4.8 tonnes of material was diverted from landfill to complete this project.

Project Completion: Integrated Solar Light Install

Moodie Outdoor Products recently installed 6 of the i1200 Integrated Solar Lights to improve worker safety for a client. Being unable to run power to the hazard locations our client was looking for a solution to improve lighting in these areas to minimise the chance of injury. The i1200 was trialled for 1 week before the decision was made to install the light in the other areas. The i1200 was installed onto existing security fencing which meant costs and interruptions due to installation were kept to a minimum. The install was completed within a day.

The features of the i1200 light include:

  • Integrated solar light with the solar panel. battery and control gear all as one unit
  • Require 8 hours direct sunlight to charge (panel facing equator)
  • 3 day autonomy
  • First 3 hours of lighting is at 100% before dropping to 25% thereafter
  • Contains a PIR motion sensor – meaning that if motion is detected when light is operating at 25% then it will go to 100% output for 30 seconds before dropping back down to 25%
  • Fits onto 60mm OD mounting pole
  • Warranty period = 2 years
