Rubber Safety Surface Refurbishment

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the refurbishment of a dilapidated rubber safety surface under an existing playground in Redfern, NSW.

The safety surface was showing cracks and crumbling due to age. The new surfacing has bought the playground area back to life and will allow it to provide entertainment for many more years to come.

Project Completion – Emerald Hills Stage 2 Pedestrian Bridge

Moodie Outdoor Products has recently completed the installation of the Emerald Hills Stage 2 Pedestrian Bridge. This was a design and construct project.

The bridge itself is 22m long and 2.8m wide. It features galvanised steel posts, bearers and cycle rails. Joists are Fibreglass Reinforced Plastic. Decking and handrail posts are Roocycle ET. Balustrading is powdercoated black with Corten steel infill panels featuring the Emerald Hills logo.

Chunky Log Bench

Moodie Outdoor Products has in the past supplied and installed these Chunky Log Benches. The timber is sourced and re-purposed from old wharves. Specially made brackets attach to the log and sit them up off the ground to a comfortable bench height.

Pedestrian Access Ramp

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the installation of a Pedestrian Walkway at the Chisholm Centre in Winston Hills, NSW.

The walkway is 50 lineal metres and has been constructed at 1.8m wide to provide easy access for all. The substructure has been constructed using Roocycle ET to provide a long lasting maintenance free walkway.

FRP micromesh was used for the deck as it is non-slip and maintenance free. Black powdercoated balustrading and stainless steel handrails finish off the walkway nicely.

AusCast Furniture for Woolworths

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the installation of outdoor furniture for a new Woolworths development in Bomaderry, NSW.

The Australian made precast concrete furniture from our AusCast range was delivered to site and craned into position. The Roma Bench is 100% concrete whilst the Rohan Bench utilises a combination of precast concrete and Roocycle WPC slats.

Also installed was a Eureka Skillion Lid Litter Bin.

GroundArt Installation

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the installation of two GroundArt Chess Boards at Elizabeth MacArthur High School in Narellan. These outdoor chess boards are constructed using thermoplastic material and are non slip making them perfect for the school environment.

Some Giant Chess sets were also supplied. These items are sure to provide years of entertainment for the students.

1D Transportable Restroom

Moodie Outdoor Products recently completed the supply and installation of a 1D Transportable Restroom to south east QLD.

The 1D restroom was completely constructed in the Outside Products factory and shipped to site. Once on site the restroom was craned into position, levelled and then had the plumbing connected. In all the site installation took 1 hour!!
